From my initial phone call to the completion of my move, the phone representative, communications, and movers were so professional and efficient. The movers wrapped and moved my belongings as they would their own. After having a bad experience with another company that damaged one of my items, I was so relieved at the care OnDemand Movers provided me. I am grateful to them for making this move stress-free.

We had a great experience with OnDemand Movers. From the start, they were very prompt with getting back to me about an estimate and scheduling. Ninu was a great help with all of my questions and with coordinating the move. Moving day, we got a team of 3 men who were awesome! They were efficient and careful and all around great people to have helping with the move. We started at a building with an elevator and ended at one with 3 flights of stairs, but they kept on pace. Would definitely recommend and use their services again.

Great moving company–very transparent about prices, really professional team of movers.

I hired OnDemand to pack and move my 1-bedroom apartment about 3.5 miles. I worked with Ninu and Mike to get a quote and they were both very responsive (without being pushy) and answered my questions clearly and provided a COI quickly. On the day of, Tolu, Xavier and Kevin arrived on time within the window I was told to expect them. I had A LOT of stuff for a 1 BR (really, it was almost 2 BR of stuff) and was worried we wouldn’t accomplish the move with the elevator reservation window, but the team was so efficient and actually completed the move-out early ahead of the next elevator reservation at the new place, at which point I offered them lunch and a break but to my surprise they wanted to go ahead and see if they could get in early to the new place (even though I was paying them by the hour anyway!). They were also very helpful during the move-in process and relocated furniture and boxes for me after I changed my mind about where I wanted them. The packing could have been more organized, but nothing was damaged (really!) and all fragile items were appropriately packed. I ended up paying a little more than my quote, but I did have a lot more stuff than I originally estimated. Given the cost/efficiency ratio, I will definitely use OnDemand for my next move.

Very professional and the price was in my budget.

It was crunch time and I had only hours to move. My property manager no moving after 5pm. My original reserved mover bailout. I call this mover and was able to make reservations same day. The mover was very professional and handled my belongings with care. I appreciated the customer service and the kindness of the movers. I highly recommend and would use them again. By FAR, the best movers ever that i’ve used. Price was no comparison to every other company we called. And EXTREMELY flexible in scheduling. We had to move two days right after the other- 1 out and the next day into the new place. They kept our things on the truck overnight for a very small fee. Who else does that? Honestly, best quality, affordable, and reliable moving service in the city. After being quoted almost $1,000 plus at other places and having a moving company quit a couple days before my move I was nervous to find other movers. I called two days before my move and Ondemand was responsive almost immediately. Compared to others, their rates are very reasonable. I had 2 guys for a studio size apartment (400-500 sq ft). The guys were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 8:30 and showed up at 9. That would be my only critique, otherwise they were amazing. They took their time making sure to wrap fragile items and pack it properly, but didn’t drag their feet. Between both loading and unloading my move was about 3.5 hours. I’m sure if I had hired a third guy it would have gone by much quicker.

No hidden fees or surprises at the end. I paid extremely close to my lower estimate range. You pay an hourly rate but only pay prorated by the minute beyond the hour after their two hour minimum. There was also a flat fee but it was more affordable than other companies.

The guys were super friendly and very respectful of my belongings. I’d HIGHLY recommend to anyone moving within the city, especially those moving only a studio to one bedroom sized apartments. Thank you again!

These guys are fantastic! We had some issues with the closing on our condo and they were available for a last minute move. They were professional, friendly, and the move out of our apartment went so well we hired them again for the move into the condo a few weeks later. I was worried when I was called day of to say that they would only be able to send 2 guys instead of 3 but their 3rd guy showed up with his foot wrapped and helped load things into and out of the truck! Needless to say, I would hire them every time!

The selling of our old home and purchase of our new home was…interesting to put it mildly. Dates and times moved constantly. One thing that held constant was OnDemand Movers USA. Ninu is the best! They were so flexible and patient with us as we changed plans about 5 times! They moved our our things and took great care with it. They stored our items for 3 nights until we could move into our new home. Everything was safe and secure! When they moved us into our new home, they placed things where we needed them and helped put our bed together. They are so nice and work so hard. We’ll definitely be using them again. I used them last weekend for a local move and they were great! They were very transparent with pricing and responded quickly if I had any questions. They didn’t have a lot of reviews but since each review raved so much that I decided to give them a shot and wow they made moving a million times easier!
Day of they disassembled/assembled our heavy queen size bedframe and wrapped and moved all of our heavy furniture – large couch, standing desk, full length mirror, and more. We even added 7-8 items boxes of and they didn’t bat an eye.
They carried everything up the very narrow two flights of stairs at the new place in 90 degree weather and everything remained in perfect condition. They estimated 4-6 hours and they finished the move in 4.5 and only charged for that much! I was sure it would take the full time but they were so quick.
I looked at plenty of other companies for quotes and I am so glad I went with OnDemand! The price and the value were fantastic, will definitely be using them for all my moves.

I’ve used professional movers a few times in the past but one quality that stuck out to me was the extra care for my belongings. As a plant owner I’ve had damage done during moves (sometimes it’s unavoidable) and was weary about transporting my plant babies in the cold weather but Mike and his team made it their priority to make sure each plant (I have over 30 varying in sizes) was taken to my new residence safe & sound! We have a loft with spiral stair case and heavy pieces. So, moving across the hall became a much larger task. They offered to help with small details and were conscious of marking walls to leaving shoe prints. These men went above and beyond without taking a break. I have had two horrible experiences in the last year with other companies and this company has renewed my faith in moving companies. In my humble opinion, there is just no other company comparable. Wonderful team of two hardworking men! Arrived in time and worked diligently to complete the move. All items were safe and well protected. We had requested 3 movers to expedite but could only get 2 so the move took a bit longer.

Two movers arrived on time, George and I didn’t get the second movers name, but my move was a little bigger than expected. However, they both moved all my items, even after realizing this was going to take longer. I didn’t have a lot of things but my furniture is heavy solid pieces. They took their time and wrapped the furniture, paintings and of course the glass. Everything made it to my home in one piece.

After comparing some quotes for my move, I decided on OnDemand Movers USA and I am so happy I went with them! Minu was amazing to work with and I loved the text reminders leading up to my move.

I moved from Lakeview to Old Town this weekend and everything went so smoothly. All of my furniture and boxes were handled with care and everything was placed exactly where I wanted upon arrival. Plus the cost was less than I was quoted and the whole move start to finish took just about 3 hours – a total win in my book. Moving is NEVER pleasant but the right moving company can really make a difference. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend this company – I had a semi short turnaround for booking and they responded with a quote very quickly. All three of the movers (one was the owner) were very sweet and great to work with. The final leg of the move was up three very awful-for-movers flights of stairs and they did it in no time. Prices are very reasonable and explained up front so you know exactly what all the planned costs are as well as unexpected stuff that pops up. Mike and company were amazing with our moves back in April. They moved us out of a condo into a storage unit and then out of the storage unit into our new condo a week later. We had a massive sectional couch and they were able to move it out of our place and into our new place with no problem at all. We would highly recommend them for your moving needs!

These gentlemen were excellent. I found them randomly through Google and followed the Yelp link because they had such high reviews and now I know why. These guys worked fast and diligent and you felt you could trust them with your items. They sealed my TVs and furniture and moved them carefully, even did so with boxes marked fragile. Just make sure you keep up and tell them what to take if it’s not obvious because they get you out and in and they almost left some of my things lol. Bless these men because I moved from the second floor to third floor and I don’t know how they did it. I’m so sorry I didn’t have any water to offer lol. Small move of a treadmill from the lower level of our home outside to a van, but everything went well. On time, nice guys, move was handled well, no damage to anything. The scheduling and pricing were very fair and convenient.

It was a REALLY hot day and stairs were involved. We underestimated how much stuff we had (our fault) and required a second trip. The guys were so gentle and friendly despite it being an extremely hot day. Sprung for the deluxe wrapping, everything arrived at the new place in it’s original condition. It was a great price overall as I had a ton of stuff and was on the 3rd floor! There were 4-5 guys helping and they barely took any breaks! They wore masks and made sure all my concerns were met. They were very polite and extremely efficient. They took pretty good care of handling my things. A few little scuffs/chips on my stuff just because some of the stuff went down to the truck before being wrapped and I should’ve been more clear in communicating. This was the first time I’ve ever used movers and I’d definitely use them again. Thank you!

OnDemand Movers USA were absolutely amazing. The two gentlemen that came to move my from Portage Park to Rogers Park arrived with masks, were professional, courteous, and hard-working. In the beginning I was hesitant because they didn’t have many reviews on Yelp, so made it a point to get a review up. I would use them again for any move and strongly recommending them to someone else who is going to be moving soon. Price was fair and work was done professionally and exceeded my expectations. These guys worked from 4pm-7pm without taking a single break. Absolutely amazing. 5 stars all day!

Mike and the movers were great!
I was initially very very skeptical about using this service considering Yelp keeps removing their customers reviews. I’m not exactly sure why but Mike was super responsive and even came himself on the move, considering how worried I was.
They were very careful with my fragile pieces and double wrapped it to make sure it was extra safe during the move.

OnDemand Movers USA were amazing! They arrived on time, took great care with all our items, and had us moved out of two storage units into a home in less than 4 hours. Their estimate was accurate and the communication before, during and after was great. I highly recommend them!

Mike and his team are AMAZING!! Moving is always nerve wrecking, and living ‘in between places’ is stressful; however, Mike showed up on time, accessed the move and went to work. Extremely professional, respectful, prepared with blankets, tape, shrink wrap, etc…Had a great attitude and answered all my questions as they were coming to mind, and not once did he seemed bothered or too busy to answer them. I am very happy I went with them and pleased they move was very smooth. Pricing is very fair and competitive. Overall, I highly recommend Ondemand Movers!
